About the role
- Drive new business acquisition by building strong relationships with benefit brokers, consultants, and employer clients
- Navigate the dynamics between healthcare-focused brokers and voluntary benefit specialists to identify high-potential opportunities
- Lead quarterly broker events, webinars, and educational sessions to maintain strong engagement and brand visibility
- Use Salesforce and related tools to manage pipelines, track performance, and drive referrals
- Collaborate with Employee Benefits leadership, Sales Enablement, Legal, Finance, and Partner Account Managers to support successful program delivery
- Stay current on industry trends to inform sales strategy
Requirements
- 5–7 years of business development or sales experience in employee benefits, voluntary benefits, or insurance services
- Proven success meeting or exceeding sales targets in a consultative B2B environment
- Experience presenting to and negotiating with C-level executives and key stakeholders
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and sales cycles
- Excellent public speaking and presentation abilities
- Willingness to travel up to 70% throughout the western U.S.
