Key responsibilities & impact

Work within a project team environment to support construction projects at the Knolls Site.
Develop and define project scope with sponsors.
Work with a project team to develop specifications, cost estimates, drawing reviews, and provide engineering support during construction phase.
Oversee architectural engineering firms in developing concept designs, construction documents, and cost estimates.
Coordinate and interact with facility staff and contractors.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s Degree in Structural Engineering
5 to 10+ years of relevant experience
Must be a United States (U.S.) citizen
Ability to obtain and maintain a government issued clearance
Experience performing structural engineering tasks
Working knowledge of building codes and standards
Experience in construction administration
