About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Serve as acting Project Engineer, leading and managing engineering scope and execution.
Support fabrication and procurement efforts, including design and construction of PIT-related equipment.
Oversee renovation and fabrication of specialized equipment supporting nuclear mission objectives.
Coordinate with procurement engineers, vendors, and technical experts to ensure successful project delivery.
Manage project scope, schedule, and engineering deliverables across a multi-phase program.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with mission requirements.
Participate in vendor visits and inspections as needed (short-term travel).
Support ongoing mission needs, including occasional overtime.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s Degree and 10+ years of relevant experience
Must be a United States (U.S.) citizen due to the federal nature of the work
Able to obtain and maintain a government issued clearance, if needed
