Licensed Health Insurance Sales Representative
GeisingerHealth Insurance Sales Representative at Geisinger Health Plan cultivates new sales of Medicare health plans. Influences organizations and builds relationships to support existing partners in a defined region.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Cultivates new sales of Medicare Advantage HMO and PPO plans, and Medicare supplemental plans
- Influences community-based organizations to build collaborative relationships to develop prospects and promote interest in products
- Supports relationships with existing strategic partners
- Assists with developing sales strategies to implement in designated region
- Delivers sales presentations to Medicare eligible audiences in a group setting as well as in a home setting
- Presents the managed care concept to employer groups and unions
- Increases membership in the Medicare line of business
- Initiates the development of sales and community activities by engaging key contacts
- Markets Geisinger Gold within the community (provider offices, senior centers, high rises, etc.)
Requirements
What you’ll need- Must already be licensed to sell Health Insurance
- Minimum of 1 year experience in Health Insurance/Managed Care (Required)
- Minimum of 3 years Sales experience (Required)
- Accident and Health Insurance License within 60 days - Default Issuing Body
- Computer Literacy
