Key responsibilities & impact

Treat patients of all ages in urgent care clinics.
Work at CommunityCare Express Mt Pleasant, Scranton and CommunityCare Express Kistler, Wilkes-Barre clinics.
Diagnose and treat common medical problems.
Provide routine health exams, immunizations, screenings and wellness services.
Perform procedures such as suturing and splinting.
Rotations of weekends and some holidays required (Work 7 out of 14 days).

Requirements

What you’ll need

Six months of primary care, emergency medicine, urgent care or critical care of professional practitioner experience is required.
Education: Bachelor's Degree-Physician Assistant (Required), Master's Degree-Physician Assistant (Preferred)
Basic Life Support Certification - Default Issuing Body
Certified Physician Assistant - National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
