About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Gather pertinent information from incoming calls concerning medications
Address medication related questions, issues, prior authorizations, as well as refill approvals
Perform a medication review and complete clinical review during calls
Review patient medication profiles to guard against sensitivities and interactions
Authorize prescription refills on pre-specified maintenance medications
Conduct thorough reviews of each patient’s electronic medical record
Document encounters within electronic medical record

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's Degree-Pharmacy (Required)
Licensed Pharmacist (Pennsylvania) within 90 days
Certification(s) and License(s)
Experience in addressing medication related questions and issues
