About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide reassurance and solutions to customers after accidents
- Inspect and assess vehicle damage
- Estimate vehicle repair costs
- Negotiate equitable settlements
- Partner with body shops, rental companies, and parts providers
- Consult with involved parties and review insurance contracts
- Inspect vehicles and write estimates
- Manage rental cars
- Resolve customer concerns
- Drive customer satisfaction through meaningful interactions
- Complete required hands-on training at the Ashburn, VA training facility and field training center
Requirements
What you’ll need- Customer-facing experience preferred
- Experience in high-volume call centers with KPIs and measurable goals preferred
- Active Adjusters license preferred
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Valid driver’s license meeting company underwriting guidelines required
- Strong customer service, interpersonal, problem-solving, and empathy skills
- Adaptable and detail-oriented
- Ability to prioritize and multitask across platforms
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must complete required hands-on and field training
- GEICO will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization
