About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and maintain detailed financial models supporting business performance
- Build tools, projections, and scenario analyses to evaluate business risk and future outlooks
- Isolate key drivers, quantify impacts, and assess implications of operational changes
- Analyze large, complex datasets to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
- Conduct sensitivity and trade-off analysis tied to core business levers
- Create insight-led narratives connecting financial outcomes to operational drivers
- Diagnose issues and surface potential corrective actions
- Build, enhance, and maintain analytical tools, templates, and dashboards
- Improve data usability, documentation, and analytical efficiency
- Collaborate with Product and cross-functional partners to understand business context and decision needs
- Support presentations and readouts with clear, decision-ready materials
- Respond to ad hoc analytical requests
- Deliver accurate, timely analyses and reporting
- Manage moderately complex analytical projects addressing ambiguous business questions
- Balance multiple priorities while maintaining analytical rigor
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related quantitative field preferred
- 1–3 years of FP&A, Finance, or similar experience
- Insurance industry knowledge preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft tools
- Knowledge of SQL and Power BI preferred, but not required
- Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations
- Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and adapt to a fast-paced environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
