About the role
- Design, develop, implement and maintain solutions for data ingestion and transformation projects.
- Build data solutions working with cloud data solutions (Azure, Delta Lake, Iceberg, Snowflake, Redshift or equivalent).
- Build finance data lake/mart with Data processing/data transformation using tools such as DBT, Airflow, Data Hub, etc.
- Engage in cross-functional collaboration throughout the entire software lifecycle.
- Support the implementation of a strong control and governance framework and maintain it for SOX and Audit reviews.
- Analyze and translate business and functional specifications and change requests into technical specifications.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience building data warehouses using leading cloud platforms and data tools.
- Strong working knowledge of Data processing/data transformation using ETL/ELT tools such as Informatica, DBT, etc.
- Strong working knowledge of SQL or Python and the ability to write, debug and optimize code and ETL jobs.
- Experience in implementing analytical solutions via tools such as Power BI, Tableau, etc.
- Finance domain expertise would be preferred.
- Ability to communicate and work directly with users across Technology and Finance.
- Sound understanding of project management techniques, methodologies, and best practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business Administration, or equivalent education or work experience.
