About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Evolve the product vision and roadmap for GEICO’s IAM platform (e.g., authentication, authorization, federation, privileged access, identity lifecycle, etc.).
  • Translate complex business and security requirements into clear product strategies and actionable features.
  • Partner closely with cybersecurity, engineering, legal, compliance, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable and secure IAM capabilities that meet enterprise needs.
  • Prioritize features and enhancements based on risk, impact, and effort, using data and stakeholder input to guide decisions.
  • Monitor industry trends, regulatory changes, and threat landscapes to keep GEICO’s IAM platform modern and compliant.
  • Lead cross-functional teams through full product lifecycle — from discovery and design to delivery and measurement.
  • Influence and align executive stakeholders on product direction and outcomes.
  • Mentor and coach junior product managers within the IAM domain.
  • Ensure IAM solutions meet regulatory and compliance requirements (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
  • Define KPIs, monitor performance, and continuously optimize IAM services for usability, risk reduction, and operational efficiency.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 8+ years of product management experience, with at least 3 years focused on identity and access management or security-related domains.
  • Deep knowledge of IAM protocols and technologies (e.g., SAML, OIDC, OAuth, MFA, SCIM, PAM, RBAC/ABAC).
  • Experience delivering IAM solutions at enterprise scale (B2C and/or B2E).
  • Strong strategic thinking, with ability to align product roadmaps to business goals and security requirements.
  • Proven ability to drive initiatives in complex, regulated environments.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or equivalent experience; advanced degree is a plus.
  • Relevant IAM certifications and/or insurance industry experience is a plus.
