About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Deliver strategic sales initiatives with a defined territory of agencies and build their book of GEICO business through approved underwriting practices.
- Use strong ability to influence, along with analytical and decision-making skills to provide guidance and support that promotes preference for GEICO products and services.
- Act as a subject matter expert of product lines and systems to provide recommendations that improve customer experience, sales closure, and retention with new and existing customers in the business-to-business space.
- Help agencies achieve sales targets through actionable goal setting and understanding of their business needs.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 2 years sales/consulting experience (business-to-business sales a plus)
- Must have prior experience with commercial insurance OR relevant commercial auto and trucking industry experience
- Highly effective oral and written communicator – must be comfortable presenting, persuading, and networking through multiple channels (in-person, virtually, over the phone, etc.)
- Ability to work individually and as a team collaborator with strong organizational skills in a fast-paced environment
- Experience interpreting and analyzing data to make informed decisions that support growth initiatives
- Knowledge of industry changes, technology, and desire for continued learning
- Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent
