About the role

  • Scope, design, and build scalable, resilient distributed systems through collaboration throughout Software Development Lifecycle
  • Build highly reliable infrastructure and leverage technical skills for optimal performance solutions
  • Automate tasks, test infrastructure, build and maintain CI/CD pipelines
  • Deliver high quality software and establish best practices and processes through code reviews and mentoring engineers
  • Define and capture SLA, SLO and SLIs for application components
  • Define SRE practices and implement operational excellence
  • Mentor other engineers and share best practices

Requirements

  • 8+ years of professional, hands-on software development experience
  • Strong experience in architecting and designing large-scale, complex systems
  • Advanced experience in Hybrid cloud environments with Azure, AWS, or GCP and Linux based on-prem environment
  • Advanced understanding of SRE and DevOps concepts including Azure DevOps framework and tools
  • Advanced experience working with CI/CD, Azure Just-in-Time, VM Access, Azure Cloud Services, Azure Active Directory, Azure Automation Accounts, Kubernetes/AKS or similar containerization technology
  • Proficient coding skills in Java, Kotlin, Golang or similar languages
  • Hands-on experience building platforms from ground up using resiliency patterns, observability, continuous delivery, and infrastructure as code
  • Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, Kafka, Spark, Airflow, or their equivalents
  • Proficient in using cloud computing tools throughout the software development lifecycle
  • Advanced PowerShell and Python scripting skills
  • Skilled in collaborating across engineering teams and other functions
