About the role
- Conduct variance analysis to understand why actual financial results differ from budgeted or forecasted figures.
- Assists in the monthly analytical financial forecasts to predict future financial performance and help management anticipate challenges and opportunities.
- Assists with maintaining and updating standard reporting & analysis to support operational decisions.
- Assists with the preparation of reports and presentations for senior management, summarizing key financial metrics and insights.
- Leverage data to uncover trends, patterns, and actionable insights; Effectively synthesize data for audiences in and outside of Finance.
- Prepares standard and ad-hoc models of moderate complexity; Prepares routine reports and assists in ad-hoc reporting requests of limited complexity from business leaders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics or related quantitative field is preferred.
- 2+ years of full-time relevant work experience in the US.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Tools.
- Knowledge in SQL and Power BI preferred, but not required.
- Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data driven recommendations.
- Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to work both independently and in a team environment.
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills.
