About the role
- Develop suppliers and products, perform MRP analyses, inventory projections, and order control, supporting the management of lead times and delivery compliance.
- Develop foreign suppliers for tools, components, and raw materials, ensuring diversification and quality.
- Execute the supplier qualification process in accordance with the Gedore Supplier Requirements Manual, ensuring the selection of qualified partners capable of guaranteeing on-time deliveries and high-quality products.
- Negotiate prices and delivery times with foreign suppliers, always seeking the best value and ensuring market competitiveness.
- Negotiate competitive international freight rates to optimize import costs and ensure logistical efficiency.
- Analyze supplier performance monthly, identifying opportunities for improvement and creating and monitoring action plans when necessary.
- Run MRP and analyze the purchasing requirements generated for subsequent issuance of purchase orders.
- Perform inventory projection and potential stockout analyses, developing actions to minimize impacts related to demand variation and supplier deliveries.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in International Trade, Business Administration, Logistics, or related fields.
- Postgraduate studies in progress desirable: in International Trade, Business Administration, Logistics, Project Management, or related areas.
