About the role

  • Ensure the quality of our solution during development and at release generation.
  • Combine manual testing, automation, branch validation, and validation in lab (spa) environments to quickly detect regressions and secure releases.
  • Validate the quality of new features on feature branches before integration (complete, compliant, release-ready).
  • Execute tests on the development branch to prevent and detect regressions.
  • Perform targeted manual tests (exploratory / functional), then convert relevant cases into automated tests.
  • Develop and maintain the automated test bench.
  • Verify the proper functioning of existing automated tests (stability, reliability, relevance).
  • Enhance, maintain, and evolve the team’s automated test suite.
  • Collaborate with DevOps to implement or improve tools for running automated tests.

Requirements

  • Experience in software QA: manual testing + automation (or strong motivation to drive automation).
  • Practical knowledge of testing strategies: regression, smoke, exploratory, branch testing, acceptance criteria.
  • Comfortable with investigation: reproducing issues, analysis, logs, and documenting bugs (clear, actionable).
  • Strong ability to work in a team (Development, DevOps, integrated testing) within a continuous delivery context.
  • Familiarity with Python, Bash scripting, and PowerShell for CI/CD and automated execution (GitHub Actions).
  • Knowledge of observability/logging (e.g., structured logs, dashboards, alerting).
  • Experience with hardware/lab environments or field validation (production, OEM).
