Sales & Business Development Intern

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Research and identify prospective colleges, universities, and training institutions across the U.S.
- Support outbound outreach efforts (email, LinkedIn, event follow-up) to generate sales opportunities
- Assist in preparing and participating in product demos and discovery calls
- Learn how to position GEGI’s SIS against competitors in the EdTech market
- Help maintain CRM records, pipeline tracking, and follow-up activities
- Conduct basic market research on trends, competitors, and institutional needs
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to refine messaging and outreach strategies
- Support conference/event preparation and post-event engagement campaigns
Requirements
What you’ll need- Recent college graduate or currently enrolled (Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Interest in sales, business development, or education technology
- Comfortable using tools such as Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, or CRM systems
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Highly organized with attention to detail
- Preferred (Not Required) Internship or coursework related to sales, marketing, or business development
- Interest in higher education or EdTech
- Experience with LinkedIn outreach or email campaigns
