About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design, implement, and support Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) solutions connecting food and beverage processing equipment with cloud-based digital applications and advanced data analytics platforms
- Integrate Siemens and Rockwell automation systems with Microsoft Azure, InfluxDB, and Databricks
- Support digital applications for equipment monitoring, asset performance management, predictive maintenance, energy management, water optimization, and production performance analytics
- Collaborate with Product Managers and Automation Engineers to define technical requirements
- Implement edge-to-cloud connectivity for real-time data collection and monitoring
- Drive standardization of digital architectures and integration frameworks
- Ensure IIoT solutions comply with OT cybersecurity standards and industry best practices
- Implement industrial data models, asset hierarchies, and contextualized data structures
- Support reusable connectivity and analytics solutions
- Identify opportunities to improve reliability, scalability, and performance of digital products
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Electrical or Automation Engineering or Computer Science
- 5+ years of experience in Industrial Automation, IIoT, Cloud Engineering, or Digital Solutions
- Experience delivering cloud-based software products using Microsoft Azure
- Experience with InfluxDB and Databricks for time-series data management, analytics, and reporting
- Strong knowledge of PLC, SCADA, HMI, and industrial control systems in process or manufacturing industries
- Proven experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
- Knowledge of Food & Beverage processes
- Awareness of IEC 62443 and industrial cybersecurity principles
- Fluent English (B2/C1) required
- Spanish or German considered a strong advantage
