Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum of a high school diploma or GED required
Technical school certification in refrigeration or similar field is preferred
ANSI / IIAR-6 certification required or must be able to obtain within 1 year
RETA CIRO Certification is preferred
Minimum of 10 years of experience in industrial refrigeration
Capable of reading P&IDs and electrical schematics
Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude
Knowledge of major components pertaining to refrigeration systems
Advanced knowledge of screw and piston type compressors
Advanced working knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and control schemes
Ability to act as a trainer/mentor to junior technicians
Ability to travel 90% of the time
