About the role
- Manage assigned accounts and serve as their primary point of contact
- Ensure long-lasting client relationships
- Regularly engage with clients to provide updates and gather feedback
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences
- Work closely with the territory manager to develop and execute sales plans
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the region/territory
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for assigned accounts
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, marketing, or a related field preferred
- 2-10+ years of relevant experience in Vertical Packaging Equipment required
- Ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities simultaneously
- Proven track record of success in managing a sales territory and exceeding sales targets
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in sales management software and CRM systems
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data
- Must be willing/able to travel 75% of the time
