💰 $110,000 - $125,000 per year

About the role

  • Promote and secure the sale of spare parts, repairs, field service, equipment upgrades/modernizations, and service level agreements
  • Implement the group-wide sales strategy
  • Ensure a coordinated customer approach with counterparts in Customer Support, Field Service, and Engineering
  • Manage key customer accounts in the assigned territory
  • Travel to customer for visits that include necessary presentations/demonstrations
  • Develop the correct sales contacts at each customer location
  • Participate in trade shows promoting equipment service sales activity along with new equipment sales
  • Provide market feedback to the Director of Service Sales and regionally responsible service management
  • Utilize all available GEA resources to generate sales

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business or a related field preferred but not required
  • 5+ years of technical territory sales experience highly preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal skills, especially face to face meetings
  • Ability to read and understand market trends and competitor developments
  • Strong commercial acumen to drive top line growth
  • Familiarity with concept of service offerings and local market requirements
  • Ability to travel up to 60% of time; some international travel may be required
  • The sales engineer MUST live in the Great Lakes territory
