About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead the team and plan the execution of activities in coordination with Site and Construction Management
  • Monitor subcontractors’ technical performance and ensure the integrity of materials and equipment
  • Validate electromechanical assemblies and installations in accordance with designs, engineering standards, and contract specifications
  • Ensure compliance with HSE standards, local regulations, and applicable legislation
  • Apply knowledge of hydromechanical equipment and lifting systems at hydroelectric power plants and small hydroelectric plants
  • Manage nonconformities (NCRs) and quality records while keeping document control up to date
  • Provide technical support to the client and internal team and promote continuous process improvement

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Completed technical education in Mechanical, Electrical, Electrotechnical Engineering, or a related field
  • Previous experience in quality control of industrial equipment for hydroelectric power plants
  • Intermediate Spanish
  • Willingness and availability for frequent international and domestic travel and relocation to project sites
  • A specialization or certification as a Quality Inspector is a plus
  • Intermediate English is a plus
