About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the team and plan the execution of activities in coordination with Site and Construction Management
- Monitor subcontractors’ technical performance and ensure the integrity of materials and equipment
- Validate electromechanical assemblies and installations in accordance with designs, engineering standards, and contract specifications
- Ensure compliance with HSE standards, local regulations, and applicable legislation
- Apply knowledge of hydromechanical equipment and lifting systems at hydroelectric power plants and small hydroelectric plants
- Manage nonconformities (NCRs) and quality records while keeping document control up to date
- Provide technical support to the client and internal team and promote continuous process improvement
Requirements
What you’ll need- Completed technical education in Mechanical, Electrical, Electrotechnical Engineering, or a related field
- Previous experience in quality control of industrial equipment for hydroelectric power plants
- Intermediate Spanish
- Willingness and availability for frequent international and domestic travel and relocation to project sites
- A specialization or certification as a Quality Inspector is a plus
- Intermediate English is a plus
