About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Supervise the assembly and installation of electrical Balance of Plant (BOPe) systems at hydroelectric power plants and small hydropower plants, ensuring compliance with deadlines, contractual requirements, and quality standards;
  • Collaborate with Site and Construction Managers on the sequential planning of activities, ensuring the availability of the necessary labor, tools, and resources;
  • Monitor the competency and performance of contractors, ensuring execution strictly follows procedures, technical specifications, and quality guidelines;
  • Ensure that all activities are performed in compliance with company safety standards and local regulations, safeguarding the well-being of personnel and the integrity of equipment;
  • Keep drawings and technical documents up to date, issuing Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and coordinating technical solutions with engineering teams;
  • Provide training to client teams on system operation and offer ongoing technical support during and after the assembly process;
  • Promote process analysis and share lessons learned with the engineering team to optimize future operations.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Completed technical education in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electrotechnics, or a related field;
  • Previous experience as a BOPe Assembly Supervisor at hydroelectric power plants;
  • Intermediate English is a plus;
  • Intermediate Spanish;
  • Availability for frequent international and domestic travel and assignment to project sites.
