About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and monitor the detailed installation plan, defining sequential assembly work orders together with the Site Manager and Construction Manager
- Anticipate bottlenecks and ensure compliance with deadlines and milestones
- Ensure the availability of labor, tools, equipment, and materials
- Supervise receiving and storage logistics and keep the site supplied in accordance with the plan
- Monitor subcontractor progress, compare planned versus actual performance, and report KPIs
- Manage risks that may impact the project schedule
- Ensure that the latest project document revisions are used (Issued for Construction)
- Support the management of non-conformances (NCRs) regarding their schedule impact and coordinate solutions with Engineering and Management
- Analyze feedback from field operations and promote lessons learned and productivity standards
- Integrate HSE guidelines into all schedule phases, prioritizing employee safety and asset protection
Requirements
What you’ll need- Completed technical education (Mechanical, Electrical, or Electrotechnical) or a completed university degree in Engineering or a related field
- Previous experience managing construction planning for electromechanical projects, particularly hydroelectric power plants and small hydropower plants (SHPs)
- Advanced proficiency in planning tools (MS Project, Primavera P6, or similar)
- Intermediate English is a plus
- Advanced Spanish, including technical translation and meeting communication skills
- Willingness and availability for frequent international and domestic travel and deployment to project sites
