About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop and monitor the detailed installation plan, defining sequential assembly work orders together with the Site Manager and Construction Manager
  • Anticipate bottlenecks and ensure compliance with deadlines and milestones
  • Ensure the availability of labor, tools, equipment, and materials
  • Supervise receiving and storage logistics and keep the site supplied in accordance with the plan
  • Monitor subcontractor progress, compare planned versus actual performance, and report KPIs
  • Manage risks that may impact the project schedule
  • Ensure that the latest project document revisions are used (Issued for Construction)
  • Support the management of non-conformances (NCRs) regarding their schedule impact and coordinate solutions with Engineering and Management
  • Analyze feedback from field operations and promote lessons learned and productivity standards
  • Integrate HSE guidelines into all schedule phases, prioritizing employee safety and asset protection

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Completed technical education (Mechanical, Electrical, or Electrotechnical) or a completed university degree in Engineering or a related field
  • Previous experience managing construction planning for electromechanical projects, particularly hydroelectric power plants and small hydropower plants (SHPs)
  • Advanced proficiency in planning tools (MS Project, Primavera P6, or similar)
  • Intermediate English is a plus
  • Advanced Spanish, including technical translation and meeting communication skills
  • Willingness and availability for frequent international and domestic travel and deployment to project sites
