About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Supervise the assembly and installation of Kaplan and Francis turbines at large and small hydroelectric power plants, ensuring compliance with deadlines, contractual requirements, and quality standards
Collaborate with site and construction managers to sequence activities and ensure the availability of the required labor, tools, and resources
Monitor the competency and performance of contractors, ensuring that work is performed strictly in accordance with procedures, technical specifications, and quality guidelines
Ensure that all activities comply with company safety standards and local regulations, safeguarding the well-being of personnel and the integrity of equipment
Maintain up-to-date control of technical drawings and documents, issue non-conformance reports (NCRs), and coordinate technical solutions with engineering teams
Provide training to client teams on system operation and deliver ongoing technical support during and after the assembly process
Promote process analysis and the sharing of lessons learned with the engineering team to optimize future operations

Requirements

What you’ll need

Completed technical education in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, electrotechnics, or a related field
Previous experience as a generator assembly supervisor at hydroelectric power plants
Intermediate English is a plus
Intermediate Spanish
Willingness and availability to travel frequently domestically and internationally and to work at project sites
