About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the deployment of Lean strategy across European generator manufacturing facilities
- Plan and execute Kaizen events focused on flow, lead time reduction, productivity, and defect elimination
- Partner with site leaders and cross-functional teams to build Lean capability through hands-on coaching
- Deploy and mature Daily Management systems for accountability, standard work, and real-time problem resolution
- Lead Built-In Quality deployment through standardized work, error-proofing, and process control
- Drive end-to-end value stream improvements focused on flow, waste elimination, and customer demand
- Identify, standardize, and deploy best practices across European sites
- Enable knowledge sharing and alignment across factories to strengthen a unified Lean culture
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college with 5+ years of experience in a Lean manufacturing environment
- Significant experience in Lean Manufacturing within a complex industrial or heavy manufacturing environment
- Proven track record leading Lean transformation initiatives across sites or value streams
- Strong hands-on experience implementing Toyota Production System principles, including Laminar flow, Jidoka (automation with a human touch), Pull systems and Kanban, Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), and Single-piece flow
- Experience with practical Lean innovations such as Moonshine systems and Karakuri-based automation solutions
- Demonstrated ability to lead high-impact Kaizen events delivering measurable improvements in operational performance
- Experience deploying defect prevention strategies and integrating quality into the process
- Strong ability to influence, coach, and drive cultural transformation across diverse, multi-site organizations
- Experience scaling Lean best practices across multiple locations
- Experience in heavy industry manufacturing (e.g., generators, turbines, large equipment) is highly preferred
- Prior experience working with Shingijutsu, Toyota, or equivalent world-class Lean organizations is a strong advantage
- Ability to effectively engage from shop floor teams to senior leadership
