About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage project-related activities and resources to ensure on-time delivery, profit and loss accountability, and customer satisfaction
  • Maintain the Project Risk Register to communicate and mitigate overall project risk
  • Participate in customer, internal, and supplier project kickoff meetings
  • Support the Project Director with preparation and coordination of kickoff meetings
  • Organize project cost structure in Oracle ERP
  • Develop and maintain a project roster
  • Assign and monitor timely completion of project-related training activities
  • Develop and issue the Project Work Plan and related project plans and procedures
  • Facilitate implementation of project plans and procedures across the project team
  • Administer and configure project documentation
  • Support the Project Director with project administration and configuration management
  • Ensure compliance with U.S. export control and other applicable requirements
  • Support development and deployment of project infrastructure and tools
  • Coordinate project activities and monitor and control progress on deliverables
  • Organize and archive project correspondence and records according to the Project Configuration Management Plan
  • Ensure project deliverables conform to contract and project requirements
  • Lead, draft, and issue project management meeting notes, action item lists, and project progress reports
  • Report to the Project Management Director while supporting the Project Director in planning and executing SMR design and construction contracts worldwide

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business from an accredited university or college
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Project Management
  • Minimum 3 years managing medium- to large-scale projects with multi-disciplinary teams and projects
  • Domestic and international travel up to 25%
  • U.S. remote eligible candidates must be highly qualified
  • Ability to obtain authorization for access to U.S. export-controlled information from the U.S. Government, if applicable
  • PMP Certification
  • Nuclear power industry experience in operations or engineering
  • Familiarity with nuclear construction practices and Boiling Water Reactor (BWR) design
  • Experience with commercial negotiations
  • Experience working in a matrixed environment
  • Demonstrated ability to anticipate and solve complex problems
  • Ability to influence stakeholders and build trust with customers, managers, and team members
  • Ability to distill complex information and focus on critical priorities
  • Ability to make decisions with speed and accuracy based on the best available information
  • Well-developed planning and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated ability to lead programs/projects
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Successful completion of a drug screen, as applicable
