About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Deliver projects on time while managing profit and loss accountability and customer satisfaction
Maintain the Project Risk Register to communicate and mitigate overall project risk
Participate in and support customer, internal, and supplier project kickoff meetings
Assist the Project Director with organizing project cost structure in Oracle ERP
Develop and maintain a project roster and monitor completion of project-related training
Develop and issue the Project Work Plan, related project plans, and project procedures
Facilitate implementation of project plans and procedures across the project team
Administer and configure project documentation
Ensure compliance with U.S. export control and other applicable requirements
Support development and deployment of project infrastructure and tools
Coordinate project activities and monitor and control progress on deliverables
Organize and archive project correspondence and records according to the Project Configuration Management Plan
Ensure project deliverables conform to contract and project requirements
Lead, draft, and issue project management meeting notes, action item lists, and progress reports
Support the Project Director in planning and executing SMR design and construction contracts around the world

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business from an accredited university or college
Minimum 5 years of experience in Project Management
Minimum 3 years managing medium- to large-scale projects with multi-disciplinary teams
Domestic and international travel up to 25%
U.S. remote eligibility for remote candidates
Ability to obtain U.S. government authorization for access to U.S. export-controlled information, if applicable
PMP Certification
Nuclear power industry experience in operations or engineering
Familiarity with nuclear construction practices and Boiling Water Reactor (BWR) design
Experience with commercial negotiations
Experience working in a matrixed environment
Demonstrated ability to lead programs/projects
Legally authorized to work in the United States
Successful completion of a drug screen, as applicable
