About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Deliver projects on time while managing profit and loss accountability and customer satisfaction
  • Maintain the Project Risk Register to communicate and mitigate overall project risk
  • Participate in and support customer, internal, and supplier project kickoff meetings
  • Assist the Project Director with organizing project cost structure in Oracle ERP
  • Develop and maintain a project roster and monitor completion of project-related training
  • Develop and issue the Project Work Plan, related project plans, and project procedures
  • Facilitate implementation of project plans and procedures across the project team
  • Administer and configure project documentation
  • Ensure compliance with U.S. export control and other applicable requirements
  • Support development and deployment of project infrastructure and tools
  • Coordinate project activities and monitor and control progress on deliverables
  • Organize and archive project correspondence and records according to the Project Configuration Management Plan
  • Ensure project deliverables conform to contract and project requirements
  • Lead, draft, and issue project management meeting notes, action item lists, and progress reports
  • Support the Project Director in planning and executing SMR design and construction contracts around the world

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business from an accredited university or college
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Project Management
  • Minimum 3 years managing medium- to large-scale projects with multi-disciplinary teams
  • Domestic and international travel up to 25%
  • U.S. remote eligibility for remote candidates
  • Ability to obtain U.S. government authorization for access to U.S. export-controlled information, if applicable
  • PMP Certification
  • Nuclear power industry experience in operations or engineering
  • Familiarity with nuclear construction practices and Boiling Water Reactor (BWR) design
  • Experience with commercial negotiations
  • Experience working in a matrixed environment
  • Demonstrated ability to lead programs/projects
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Successful completion of a drug screen, as applicable
