About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Perform system value optimization work, making tradeoffs in loads, stability, operation, and product performance
  • Help perform feasibility studies and develop tech charts
  • Prepare loads inputs, create simulation models, execute loads simulations, and perform post-processing
  • Perform basic operability checks and frequency-domain stability checks

  • Help assess risk and develop mitigation strategies

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • B.S. in Mechanical, Wind, Systems, or Aerospace Engineering from an accredited university (or equivalent)
  • Technical awareness about preparing loads for wind turbines
  • Problem solving skills for complex problems
  • Software development skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, clarity of thought, and ability to defend a technical position
