About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support the Product Management team in the end-to-end development and lifecycle management of control system products
- Contribute to the innovation and competitiveness of control system solutions for power plants worldwide
- Work with engineering, supply chain, and marketing teams to define product vision
- Prioritize and track product development
- Help ensure delivery of maximum value to customers
- Conduct customer, market, and stakeholder discovery
- Synthesize qualitative and quantitative inputs to identify and prioritize unmet needs
- Assess product and service capabilities against customer and business needs
- Identify gaps and recommend prioritized roadmap options
- Translate validated needs into clear, testable product requirements and acceptance criteria
- Prepare supporting documentation for Product Requirements Documents (PRDs)
- Develop evidence-based business cases covering opportunity, customer value, assumptions, risks, costs, and expected outcomes
- Research industry and regulatory considerations
- Create lightweight prototypes, process flows, or visual concepts with guidance from technical and compliance experts
Requirements
What you’ll need- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Required work location: Greenville, SC or Longmont, CO
- 100% onsite
- Ability to work in the United States for an unlimited amount of time without sponsorship
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale or 4.0 on a 5.0 scale (preferred)
- Knowledge of controls or industrial automation products (preferred)
- Prior internship or coursework experience in controls engineering, cost analysis, product management, or financial modeling (preferred)
- Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP and data analysis software (preferred)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with data visualization tools is a plus (preferred)
- Attention to detail and ability to work with large data sets (preferred)
- Effective written and verbal communication skills (preferred)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team (preferred)
- Interest in product management, cost analysis, and controls technology (preferred)
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- Successful completion of a drug screen, as applicable
