About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead regional procurement execution according to SQDC principles: purchase order placement, shipping and quality inspection schedules, change management, and coordination with Procurement, Project, Service, and Plant teams
  • Lead supplier performance and coordinate supplier qualification and inspections with Supplier Quality
  • Drive SQDC corrective action plans and manage NCRs and claims
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies and the Delegation of Authority
  • Monitor project cost performance and participate in execution-phase (OTR) cost-reduction initiatives
  • Manage long-lead component inventories and align procurement plans with S&OP
  • Lead regional Procure-to-Pay processes and continuously improve them through Lean / PSR
  • Play a key role in ERP migrations (SAP APCIS → ALTAIS / S/4HANA) and ensure audit compliance
  • Define and report procurement KPIs: COTD/SOTD, COPQ, EAC, DTP, and process compliance
  • Lead and develop a team of 30–35 FTEs, fostering operational excellence, capability development, succession planning, diversity, and inclusion

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum 7–10 years of experience in procurement / supply chain, ideally in an industrial and project-based or EPC environment
  • Degree in engineering, economics, business administration, or supply chain management
  • Proficiency in SAP / Oracle, P2P tools, and supply chain planning systems
  • Strong knowledge of Lean / Six Sigma, PSR, and structured problem-solving methodologies
  • French and English required
  • Process-oriented with a strong continuous improvement mindset
  • Strong business acumen, with a direct connection between execution and customer impact
  • Resilient under pressure and able to manage multiple priorities
  • Data-driven and analytical decision-maker
  • Credible executive presence with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
  • Talent developer and effective cross-functional collaborator
