About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop, maintain, and communicate the integrated Controls sub-system program schedule
  • Manage milestones, dependencies, budget inputs, resource needs, and execution priorities
  • Align Controls deliverables with overall Wind Engineering program objectives
  • Apply program management practices, daily management routines, and GE Vernova Wind planning and tracking tools
  • Identify, track, and help resolve programmatic and technical issues
  • Facilitate cross-functional discussions, recovery planning, scenario evaluation, and timely escalation
  • Provide visibility to risks, actions, owners, and decisions
  • Coordinate change management execution for the product bill of materials related to Controls Sub-Systems parts
  • Prepare for and lead periodic Controls internal program reviews
  • Support engineering process compliance, quality requirements, internal operating standards, and continuous improvement
  • Report to the Controls Integration Leader and collaborate with operations, program leadership, systems engineering, functional teams, and partner sub-systems

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited college or university
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in program management, project management, renewable energy engineering, or a related technical field
  • Experience coordinating work across cross-functional teams and managing multiple priorities in a structured execution environment
  • Ability to organize work, track actions, communicate status, and drive follow-through on commitments
  • Experience in wind turbine product development, industrial controls, automation, or complex electro-mechanical systems
  • Project management capability, including schedule management, risk management, stakeholder communication, and action tracking
  • Ability to analyze complex technical and programmatic information, identify options, and support effective decision making
  • Strong communication skills with technical and non-technical audiences
  • Interpersonal, facilitation, and influencing skills in a matrixed organization
  • Proactive mindset, attention to detail, and ability to anticipate risks, remove barriers, and support continuous improvement
  • Knowledge of GE Vernova internal standards, engineering processes, product development practices, and change management expectations
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Successful completion of a drug screen, as applicable
