About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the EPC strategy for GE Vernova’s Heavy Duty New Units Gas Power business
- Collaborate with commercial, project execution, and other teams to forecast near-term and long-term project volume in the Americas Pole, with focus on the U.S.
- Maintain, update, and calibrate the annual U.S. EPC capacity model
- Engage established and U.S.-market-targeting EPCs to assess execution readiness, capacity constraints, resource availability, and capabilities
- Develop strategies to help EPC partners overcome capacity limitations and improve project delivery readiness
- Expand and strengthen GE Vernova’s network of qualified, reliable EPC partners
- Partner with Sales and Project Management teams to track EPC assignments across the project portfolio from ITO to OTR
- Support customers in identifying and securing suitable EPCs
- Provide leadership with insights on EPC market capacity, risks, trends, and recommendations
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited university
- 5+ years of professional experience driving complex projects and programs or operational management within the Heavy Duty Power Industry
- Heavy Duty Combined Cycle plant experience highly preferred
- Deep understanding of EPC priorities within the Heavy-Duty New Units Combined Cycle sector
- Experience with various EPC contract structures and complex partnerships
- Familiarity with Heavy Duty project execution, integration, and associated technical/commercial risks
- Strong communication skills and ability to drive results and manage diverse, cross-functional stakeholders
- Strong financial acumen and experience with should-cost modeling
- Willingness to travel up to 30% regionally (NAM/LATAM)
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- Successful completion of a drug screen, as applicable
