About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Oversee site activities for HRSG and associated equipment installation and commissioning
  • Assist the Erector with HRSG components, piping, and auxiliary systems installation
  • Interpret construction sketches and drawings and ensure correct installation sequence
  • Review HRSG installation method statements for safety and effectiveness
  • Report commercial and technical deviations through quality records and NCRs and follow through to resolution
  • Ensure subcontractors provide inspection test plans, reports, and quality documentation for system turnover certification
  • Submit Engineering Request cases to GE Vernova engineering for installation clarification
  • Review welding procedure specifications and welder qualifications
  • Enforce safety protocols for heavy lifting and review installation-company lifting plans
  • Oversee HRSG piping installation, testing, hydrotests, preservation, cleaning, chemical cleaning, and safety valve settings
  • Ensure waste disposal complies with local environmental standards
  • Identify and resolve cross-disciplinary site interferences
  • Issue progress reports to construction, site, and installation leadership
  • Prepare and execute HRSG tests, performance tests, and reliability runs
  • Use P&IDs for system checks and support instrumentation and logic testing

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Some experience in Project Management & Construction and Commissioning
  • Knowledge comparable to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college, or a high school diploma with relevant experience
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college, or high school diploma/GED with 0–3 years of experience in the relevant Job Family Group(s)/Function(s)
