About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage construction, building, and commissioning activities at customer sites
- Oversee site mobilization, civil works, erection, and commissioning work
- Supervise installation and construction operations, directly or indirectly
- Manage subcontractors with technical expertise
- Develop specialized knowledge and serve as a best-practice/quality resource
- Contribute to strategy and policy development and ensure delivery within the area of responsibility
- Analyze data and use technical expertise to support recommendations
- Make decisions and solve moderately complex operational, product management, manufacturing, technology, or engineering problems
- Act as a resource for less-experienced colleagues
- Lead small projects with moderate risks and resource requirements
- Explain difficult or sensitive information and build consensus
- Influence others on topics within the field
- Coordinate and execute site mobilization, civil works, erection, commissioning, and customer-site construction activities
- Manage activities within the defined scope
- Contribute to prioritization and improve team quality, efficiency, and effectiveness
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field from an accredited university or college, or a high school diploma/GED with at least 10 years of experience in Installation
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems
- Demonstrated ability to lead programs/projects
- Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs
- Established project management skills
- Strong analytic and problem-solving capability
- Willingness to travel worldwide for long-term assignments
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- Successful completion of a drug screen, as applicable
