About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead execution of Simple and Combined Cycle projects within the Heavy Duty Gas Power business
- Manage the full project lifecycle from contract signing through completion of contractual obligations
- Serve as first and primary customer contact for assigned projects
- Lead customer engagement, negotiations, and issue resolution
- Manage internal and external stakeholders, including customers, partners, contractors, and vendors
- Own end-to-end execution of mega, complex, non-turnkey, product/equipment-only, and combined cycle projects
- Develop early execution strategies with the ITO Commercial Manager
- Coordinate contract reviews and align requirements, scope, and obligations
- Manage execution using Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost criteria
- Own full project P&L, including revenue, contribution margin, and cash
- Drive accountability for project performance metrics
- Manage cost, schedule, performance, and risk trade-offs
- Develop and manage risk and opportunity registers and mitigation actions
- Promote GE Vernova’s Safety Toolkit across project teams, partners, and subcontractors
- Support risk-based decision-making
- Develop project execution and/or technical subject-matter expertise
- Drive best practices across products, processes, and services
- Lead creative problem solving in manufacturing, engineering, and production environments
- Apply operational, engineering, and product management techniques across interdependent workstreams
- Resolve cross-functional issues and execution constraints
- Lead project teams and resources
- Support Functional Project Managers with escalations
- Present project, business, and technical solutions to senior leadership

Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university
- Minimum 8 years of Project Management experience within Energy, Construction, or large capital project environments
- Must be willing to travel up to 40% of time
- Experience and demonstrated understanding of large capital project execution costs and estimates
- Certified Project Management Professional
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple phased projects simultaneously and independently
- Strong customer focus and ability to foster strong relationships
- Experience working with and influencing senior level leaders
- Strategic thinking, problem solving, business, and financial acumen
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Demonstrated presentation skills and ability to succinctly communicate complex messages
- Inclusive style and strong interpersonal and leadership skills at all levels
- Ability to make independent decisions, manage conflicting priorities in a fast-paced environment, and interface effectively at all organizational levels
- Experience applying data and lean tools and technologies for strategic, operational, and project efficiencies
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- Successful completion of a drug screen, as applicable
