Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline
  • 5+ years of professional experience in gear boxes, mechanical engineering, turbine systems, fleet support, or services engineering
  • Expert-level understanding of turbine subsystem behavior, performance monitoring, and advanced troubleshooting methods
  • Demonstrated ability to perform detailed root cause analysis (RCA) and convert technical data into actionable engineering solutions
  • Proven ability to manage multiple complex technical issues independently in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to synthesize data-driven insights into engineering recommendations
  • Excellent technical communication skills and ability to explain complex mechanical phenomena to internal stakeholders and customers
  • Hands-on experience with gas turbine fleet operations or field service engineering preferred
  • Proficiency in reliability engineering methodologies and fleet performance analytics preferred
  • Experience documenting technical standards, troubleshooting playbooks, or engineering best practices preferred
  • Capacity to climb wind turbines
  • Able to travel >15% of the time
