About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Manage Site Civil works construction, installation, inspection, and testing for project buildings, equipment foundations, utilities, permits, security requirements, and other civil works during the OTR phase and participate in the ITO phase as needed
Control subcontractor progress and oversee or plan site resources
Liaise with clients, site consultants, project management, MEP works, engineering, EHS, quality, and security stakeholders
Develop and apply in-depth knowledge of civil works technical aspects and execute the construction strategy
Support estimation and execution work
Supervise and inspect civil works execution while maintaining QA/QC and EHS requirements
Carry out civil works quantity surveying/take-offs and validate invoices
Prepare timely site documentation and daily, biweekly, monthly, three-week-lookahead, incident, PTW, and QA/QC reports
Understand contractual terms and conditions and ensure contractual obligations are met
Attend internal and customer technical and progress meetings
Ensure site activities comply with environmental, health, and safety guidelines and procedures
Provide expert consultation on complex projects
Plan and potentially recommend and administer policies and procedures
Identify scope, interpret SE specifications and standards, and analyze claims
Drive customer satisfaction through quality commitment and support business growth initiatives

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering
Minimum 8 years of experience managing site civil works at 380kV substations and other power projects
Strong knowledge of civil works construction, installation, and quality processes, including liaison with MEP and electrical equipment installation activities
Strong knowledge of civil works codes, standards, quality processes, quantity surveying/take-offs, and resource planning/estimating
Valid driver's license and passport
Fluent English
Legal right to work in KSA without company sponsorship or time restriction
Ability to support site visits, missions, and presentations
Ability to understand and implement architectural and structural technical drawings and general arrangements
Strong computer skills using AutoCAD and MS Office Software Suite
Excellent written and oral communication skills for conveying technical concepts
Fluency in Arabic is a plus
Ability to work under pressure and take ownership of onsite activities
Willingness to travel, relocate in country and worldwide, and work overtime
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Good interpersonal skills
Ability and willingness to work holidays, weekends, and overtime as required by site assignments
