About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Drive HR strategy aligned to Grid Software business needs
- Partner with the General Manager of Grid Software and staff members
- Support and advise senior leaders on workforce planning, change management, organizational capability development, and organizational effectiveness
- Develop talent strategies with talent leaders
- Shape workforce plans aligned with long-term business goals
- Use talent insights and data to guide build, buy, borrow, and automate strategies
- Identify future skill needs and advise on developing or acquiring capabilities
- Lead organization design discussions
- Drive reorganizations, integrations, and transformation initiatives
- Improve team culture, ways of working, and decision-making
- Collaborate across regions to scale enterprise effectiveness solutions
- Advise business leaders on leadership development and capability building
- Guide leaders on performance, potential, and succession planning
- Coach leaders through organizational transitions and complex cases
- Provide strategic HR insights and feedback for business decisions
- Align business segment goals with enterprise HR strategies and programs
- Partner with HR People Partners, Centers of Excellence, and People Operations to implement recruiting, retention, and compensation solutions
- Ensure leaders understand and apply enterprise policies, including local labor and compliance considerations
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university, or equivalent knowledge or experience
- 7+ years of experience in human resources positions, staff and/or client based
- Ability to make independent decisions
- Ability to evaluate people and manage conflicting priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to effectively interface at all organizational levels
- Prior experience working in a software business strongly preferred
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Master’s Degree in Business Administration or Human Resources, or equivalent knowledge or experience preferred
- Proven ability to drive change in an effective and participative manner
- Resourceful, innovative, and persuasive
- Experience in organizational design and talent development, HR leadership/people strategies, coaching, or employee solutions
- Experience applying lean tools to improve operations
- Experience engaging, working with, and influencing C-Suite leaders
- Inclusive style and superior interpersonal skills
- Experience working with senior leadership teams in business and human resources
- Creative problem-solving and strong analytical skills
- Outstanding written and oral communication skills across all levels
- Proven success working in highly dynamic and matrixed organizations during transformation
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- Successful completion of a drug screen, as applicable
