About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Manage Site Civil works construction, installation, inspection, and testing for buildings, equipment foundations, utilities, permits, security requirements, and other civil works during the project OTR phase and participate in the ITO phase as needed
Control subcontractor progress and oversee/planning of Site resources
Liaise with clients, site consultants, project management, MEP works, engineering, EHS, quality, and security systems stakeholders
Develop and apply in-depth technical knowledge of civil works and execute the construction strategy
Support estimation and execution activities
Supervise and inspect civil works execution while maintaining QA/QC and EHS requirements
Perform civil works quantity surveying/take-off and validate invoices
Prepare timely site documentation and daily, biweekly, monthly, lookahead, incident, PTW, and QA/QC reports
Ensure contractual terms and conditions and contractual obligations are met
Attend internal and customer technical and progress meetings
Ensure site activities comply with company environmental, health, and safety guidelines and procedures
Provide expert consultation on complex projects
Plan and potentially recommend and administer policies and procedures
Identify scope, apply SE specifications/standards, and analyze claims
Support site visits, missions, and presentations
Drive customer satisfaction and support business growth initiatives

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering
Minimum 8 years of experience managing site civil works at 380kV substations and other power projects
Strong knowledge of civil works construction, installation, and quality processes, including liaison with MEP and electrical equipment installation activities
Strong knowledge of civil works codes, standards, quality processing, quantity surveying/take-off, and resource planning/estimation
Valid driver's license and passport
Fluent English
Legal right to work in KSA without company sponsorship or time restriction
Ability and willingness to work holidays, weekends, and overtime as required by site assignments
Ability to understand and implement architectural and structural technical drawings and general arrangements
Strong computer skills using AutoCAD and MS Office Software Suite
Excellent written and oral communication skills for conveying technical concepts to business and technical personnel
Willingness to travel and relocate in country and worldwide
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Good interpersonal skills
Fluency in Arabic is a plus
