About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Manage construction, building, and commissioning activities at customer sites
Oversee site mobilization, civil works, erection, and commissioning work
Plan and execute departmental operations or professional activities within the technical discipline
Manage or support construction and commissioning teams
Handle staffing and performance development responsibilities
Execute policy and strategy using technical knowledge and analytical thinking
Propose solutions for complicated manufacturing processes and interdependent production cycles

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree from an accredited university/college or Diploma in civil works (Engineering/Architectural/Civil or equivalent)
8 years' experience in Civil Works construction site activities in HV substation business
Prior Civil Works experience in UAE of HV substations civil aspect or international experience
Knowledge of scheduling and subcontractor management in civil works building field
Capacity to work in an international context
Good oral/written communication skills in English
Knowledge of NOC, COC, and all permit processes in UAE
Computer literate, including Excel and MS Project
Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems
Ability to work under pressure with consistently good performance
Willingness to work or mobilize within any part of UAE and/or abroad
Ability to multitask while maintaining good performance
