About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support content development for key business campaigns and translate complex technical topics into customer-centric messaging
Use AI to improve content efficiency and consistency while maintaining quality
Maintain editorial guidelines, content governance standards, and templates
Extend content across blogs, social media, infographics, video scripts, and digital experiences
Define, track, and optimize content performance metrics
Manage SOW-based writing contractors, including work assignment, deliverable review, editorial feedback, quality, brand voice, and consistency
Track contractor capacity and budget utilization
Manage contractor onboarding, performance, and scope
Manage enterprise SEO and GEO strategy across GE Vernova business-unit websites
Conduct SEO audits using AI tools and identify technical issues, content gaps, and optimization opportunities
Define, track, and report KPIs such as organic traffic, keyword rankings, AI answer-engine visibility, and conversion metrics
Translate business priorities into SEO/GEO roadmaps
Apply structured data, metadata, and entity optimization best practices
Conduct hands-on SEO audits and create prioritized action plans
Own the relationship with GE Vernova’s external SEO agency
Set agency direction, review recommendations, manage KPI accountability, meetings, reporting, SOW, and budget
Translate agency recommendations into actionable items for web, content, and development teams

Requirements

What you’ll need

5–7 years of experience in content strategy, digital marketing, or SEO
Proven experience managing external agencies or vendors
MBA or equivalent experience
Experience managing freelance/contract writers or a content production team
Experience using AI-powered tools for SEO auditing, content optimization, or workflow automation
Hands-on proficiency with SEMrush
Working knowledge of technical SEO fundamentals
Familiarity with or strong interest in Generative Engine Optimization
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
Successful completion of a drug screen, as applicable
