About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support Key Account Managers in driving penetration of the Grid Automation portfolio, specifically Asset Management/Monitoring & Diagnostics offerings
- Develop new opportunities and drive adoption of new products
- Proactively engage customers to expand portfolio adoption
- Manage sales opportunities and forecasts using Salesforce
- Meet or exceed orders and sales plans
- Determine customers' Critical To Quality metrics and product/service solution needs
- Present and sell product and service value under the Asset Management/Monitoring & Diagnostics portfolio
- Influence customer specifications and close key deals
- Link customers with commercial operations, marketing, engineering, and product development teams
- Develop long-term customer relationships supporting account strategy
- Provide input to account plans and growth actions
- Discuss the high-level value of the Grid Automation portfolio
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's Degree in Electronic or Electrical Engineering, Control & Instrumentation Engineering, or another technical field, or equivalent experience
- Minimum 2 years of Asset Management/Monitoring & Diagnostics experience
- Minimum 2 years of customer-facing technical or sales experience in utility or industrial markets
- Ability and willingness to travel approximately 50% of the time
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
- Ability to analyze and resolve problems
- Ability to lead programs/projects
- Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs
- Established project management skills
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- Successful completion of a drug screen, as applicable
