About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support Key Account Managers in driving penetration of the Grid Automation portfolio, specifically Asset Management/Monitoring & Diagnostics offerings
  • Develop new opportunities and drive adoption of new products
  • Proactively engage customers to expand portfolio adoption
  • Manage sales opportunities and forecasts using Salesforce
  • Meet or exceed orders and sales plans
  • Determine customers' Critical To Quality metrics and product/service solution needs
  • Present and sell product and service value under the Asset Management/Monitoring & Diagnostics portfolio
  • Influence customer specifications and close key deals
  • Link customers with commercial operations, marketing, engineering, and product development teams
  • Develop long-term customer relationships supporting account strategy
  • Provide input to account plans and growth actions
  • Discuss the high-level value of the Grid Automation portfolio

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electronic or Electrical Engineering, Control & Instrumentation Engineering, or another technical field, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 2 years of Asset Management/Monitoring & Diagnostics experience
  • Minimum 2 years of customer-facing technical or sales experience in utility or industrial markets
  • Ability and willingness to travel approximately 50% of the time
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Ability to analyze and resolve problems
  • Ability to lead programs/projects
  • Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs
  • Established project management skills
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Successful completion of a drug screen, as applicable
