About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead supply chain management activities for all equipment and spare parts within the project scope
  • Define and apply project contract requirements and sourcing restrictions
  • Ensure smooth handover of supply chain scope from tender to project execution
  • Review and update the Sourcing module of the Project Execution strategy
  • Verify procurement budget and resolve budget allocation discrepancies
  • Review project schedules and optimize procurement timing
  • Interpret EPC contract commercial terms and issue project purchasing conditions
  • Ensure suppliers meet contractual documentation requirements
  • Establish supplier quality and expediting monitoring concepts
  • Maintain and update vendor lists and secure client approval
  • Coordinate onshore and offshore procurement activities, including turnkey sub-contracts
  • Control timely, budget-compliant purchase order issuance
  • Support contract claim management, invoice release, warranty and bonds management, and major order negotiations
  • Lead cross-functional procurement progress reviews and document outcomes
  • Prepare and distribute monthly progress, cost summary, and claim summary reports
  • Ensure compliance with project, business, sector, and corporate quality and EHS rules
  • Serve as initial contact for commercial, legal, administrative, and organizational plant procurement matters
  • Act as front-line leader for installation parts required by sites
  • Monitor project supply chain KPIs, including EAC and OTD
  • Track delivery of technical specifications through engineering and escalate issues through Daily Management

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or college
  • Significant experience in manufacturing, operations or project management
  • Significant experience in a sourcing or project management role
  • Ability and willingness to travel 15% of the time, as required
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and prioritize under pressure
  • Strategic thinking and ability to create and execute concrete action plans
  • Strong analytical, project management, and organizational skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Master’s degree desired
  • Strong business, commercial, and financial acumen desired
  • Demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional stakeholders to optimize customer and company results desired
