About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the design, governance and continuous improvement of Digital Technology standard work for M&A activities, including playbooks, KPIs, deal checklists, due diligence questionnaires and decision frameworks
- Own and evolve reusable tools and templates for application assessments, cost estimation, integration and separation planning, governance and executive reporting
- Define consistent methods for evaluating technology scope, complexity, risks, resource needs and execution approaches across transactions
- Assess application landscapes, data flows, interfaces, cybersecurity, infrastructure dependencies, licensing impacts and transitional service requirements
- Serve as the senior Digital Technology point of contact for M&A activities from due diligence through execution
- Coordinate Digital Technology teams, business application owners, enterprise architects, infrastructure, cybersecurity, data and analytics, Business Development, vendors and other stakeholders
- Lead assessments of target environments to identify applications, dependencies, integration requirements, separation challenges, operational risks, costs and Day 1 readiness needs
- Develop and challenge Digital Technology M&A project and incremental run-cost estimates
- Lead Day 1, interim-state and end-state Digital Technology planning
- Monitor progress, resolve or escalate issues, and guide decisions on scope, risks, timing, priorities and resources
- Prepare recommendations, trade-off analyses and executive-ready materials
- Build relationships with GE Vernova HQ DT M&A, Business Development, functional leaders, program leaders and integration or separation management offices
- Drive lessons learned, capability building and continuous improvement after completed transactions
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s Degree in STEM, Information Systems, IT, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering, or equivalent knowledge or experience
- Significant experience in Digital Technology program management
- Track record leading complex end-to-end M&A integrations, separations or divestitures
- Ability to lead through influence across senior stakeholders, technical domains and external partners
- Strong project management and analytical skills
- Experience designing scalable processes, conducting risk and cost assessments, and managing complex workstreams
- Excellent executive-level communication skills
- Ability to work from an Electrification office
- Ability to travel 10–15% for M&A activities
- Deep knowledge of enterprise application landscapes including ERP, PLM, CRM, MES, HRIS, Finance, Supply Chain, Project Management and Services applications
- Strong experience with Transitional Service Agreements, Day 1 planning, interim-state management and post-integration or separation activities
- Familiarity with cybersecurity, infrastructure, data management and application integration in M&A contexts
- Experience in a matrixed global organization
- Project management certification or equivalent program leadership experience
