About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Analyze and provide contract quality requirements to the project team
  • Support function kickoff meetings to convey contract-specific requirements to stakeholders
  • Consolidate lessons learned from previous projects and make them actionable
  • Define the quality assurance strategy and identify project risks with the Project Director
  • Produce project quality plans and inspection and test plans
  • Communicate quality plans and ensure their application by project team members
  • Prepare and coordinate quality inspections with customers and the supply chain
  • Manage preparation and delivery of quality databooks for components
  • Monitor project process performance, including non-quality costs, product non-conformities, on-time delivery, and customer satisfaction
  • Coordinate customer satisfaction surveys and process responses
  • Manage non-conformity reports
  • Support analysis and management of cost of non-quality, claims, containment, corrective, and preventive actions
  • Support the site team with quality documentation and ensure quality control meets client requirements

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college in engineering
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
  • Good knowledge of quality management principles and tools
  • Relevant experience in project management
  • Experience in customer relationship management
  • Fluent in English
  • Ability to travel occasionally within Canada and North America
  • Experience in the hydropower industry preferred
  • Professional engineering license desired
  • Fluent in French desired
  • Project Management Certification desired
  • Leadership, proactivity, sense of urgency, autonomy, and ability to interact with functions
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to manage multitasking in a multicultural and global environment
  • Mindset of continuous improvement
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Successful completion of a drug screen as applicable
