About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Identify and assess project scope and risks during bid/proposal phases and provide feedback to ITO
- Review handover documents and strategize and document project cost and schedule risks
- Assemble project teams at launch and establish launch schedules, risks, opportunities, and assumptions
- Support Cost & Schedule Core Team commitment meetings covering baselines, targets, forecasts, and risks
- Lead IPM Execution Strategy Meetings and establish cost and schedule operating rhythms
- Lead weekly IPM meetings to review risks and opportunities and define mitigation action plans
- Drive mitigation efforts with functional owners, organize problem-solving meetings, escalate issues, and provide updates to PM and CM
- Feed cost and schedule variance outputs into PM daily management reviews
- Create change management processes and reporting for deviations and variances against as-sold budget and scope
- Assess customer change-order cost and schedule impacts and track implementation
- Track Cost Out initiatives against savings targets and escalate critical issues
- Track project payment milestones and collect documentation supporting invoicing
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university
- Minimum 7 years of cross-functional business experience with operational and/or project management experience
- Ability to lead and succeed in a cross-functional matrix environment
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
- Effective organizational, analytical, and critical thinking skills
- Demonstrated ability to analyze, resolve problems, and deliver results
- Passion for details and a ‘can do’ approach
- Thorough competency in Microsoft Office tools
- Ability to prepare and deliver complex Tableau presentations at the PMO level
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Successful completion of a drug screen, as applicable
