About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead execution-related responsibilities for assigned MSD/HRSG equipment
  • Engage with Engineering, Commodity Leaders, Buyers, Suppliers, Logistics, and Project Teams
  • Lead cross-functional problem-solving and Lean initiatives to identify systemic causes of delivery delays
  • Perform root cause analysis on late items and lead improvement actions on top drivers
  • Lead supplier improvement activities and help suppliers resolve process issues
  • Develop supplier tracking routines to improve delivery-risk forecasting
  • Support and lead long-term corrective action for relevant NCRs
  • Develop and implement concurrent-engineering frameworks when necessary to meet cycle requirements
  • Serve as approval representative for engineering change orders
  • Support action plans addressing escalated items affecting site or contract delivery and liquidated damages
  • Establish operating routines to identify and resolve issues delaying purchase-order placement, supplier integration, design, or logistics
  • Ensure on-time equipment delivery and continuous improvement while optimizing execution costs and minimizing cost exposure or overruns

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • At least 5 years of Sourcing, Projects, Lean, or Supply Chain Management experience
  • Ability to travel approximately 20–30%
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Recent experience with Gas Power Systems MSD/BOP/HRSG sourcing or project teams
  • 5+ years of experience with power generation products
  • Strong motivation and influencing skills
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills
  • Ability to operate with global suppliers and team members
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and facilitation skills
  • Proactive self-starter
  • Change-agent capability
