Key responsibilities & impact

Manage the interconnected health of multiple projects, balancing resources, risks, and performance targets across the portfolio
Define and iterate long-term project strategies
Anticipate and address market, technical, and customer-driven challenges
Serve as the ultimate escalation point for complex cross-functional bottlenecks
Apply advanced analytical techniques to issues spanning engineering, manufacturing, and field execution
Align internal and external stakeholders toward a unified long-term vision
Develop executive customer relationships and drive resolution of cross-portfolio issues, claims, and execution challenges
Identify and mentor high-potential Project Managers and functional leads
Provide feedback and career coaching to develop future project leaders
Champion continuous learning, knowledge sharing, and scalable best practices
Coach teams on influence without authority and empower ownership of complex problems
Foster psychological safety, emotional intelligence, team health, and resilience
Champion LEAN and Kaizen principles to optimize value streams and eliminate waste
Influence EAC and CTC projections and lead margin maximization through control of cash, revenue, and invoicing cycles
Lead negotiations on complex change orders and vendor claims
Own the portfolio Risk & Opportunity register and quantify portfolio-level risks
Enforce EHS and quality standards

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university
10+ years of experience leading mega-projects or complex portfolios
Experience within the Energy or large-scale infrastructure sectors
Advanced ability to represent the organization at the C-Suite level
Ability to facilitate high-stakes negotiations and manage sensitive customer communications
Ability to translate complex business challenges into actionable, sustainable project strategies
Proven experience developing talent, coaching project teams, and building a high-performance culture within a matrixed organization
Proven record identifying systemic issues and implementing solutions across interdependent workstreams
Legal authorization to work in the United States
Successful completion of a drug screen, as applicable
