About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Oversee end-to-end execution of small and medium-sized substation projects
  • Lead or manage project resources across equipment-only, product-suite, and turnkey projects
  • Manage project scope, schedule, cost to complete, risks and opportunities
  • Deliver projects to specification, budget, and schedule while ensuring customer satisfaction
  • Achieve profitability, sales turnover, and project free cash flow objectives
  • Prepare project acceptance and project review documents
  • Review project progress regularly and conduct monthly reviews with regional leadership
  • Ensure compliance with budget, quality, local and GE Vernova regulations, and EHS requirements
  • Organize customer meetings to discuss and resolve issues
  • Maintain working relationships with customers, managers, engineers, and other stakeholders
  • Provide customer care and support permanent customer satisfaction
  • Support sales tenders by preparing execution budgets and participating in clarification meetings
  • Plan project resources and ensure appropriate resources are available
  • Coordinate engineering, procurement, and construction disciplines across local and regional levels
  • Bridge communication between lead centers in Europe and Asia and support teams in India and East Asia

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience
  • Minimum 10 years of experience managing international, multi-disciplinary projects
  • Deep knowledge of technical and contractual requirements for high-voltage substation projects
  • Strong technical understanding of electrical networks and T&D technologies, including AIS/GIS switchgear, transformers, and related cabling
  • Proven ability to manage, organize, and develop multiple teams, including staffing and training plans
  • Expertise in project planning, resource allocation, financial management, and legal/contractual administration
  • Proficiency in project management software and methodologies, such as MS Project and Primavera
  • Understanding of international standards such as IEC and local market practices
  • Comprehensive knowledge of T&D products and systems, especially transmission and distribution substations
  • Strong leadership capabilities
  • Transparent and open communication practices
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with others
  • Professional demeanor and respect for colleagues and stakeholders
  • Availability to monitor, read, and respond to contact outside normal working hours across time zones
