About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Execute complex service, maintenance, and repair tasks on rotating equipment including generators, motors, and turbines
Install new components and generator systems
Troubleshoot equipment issues and implement effective solutions
Perform CO2 cleaning and stator/rotor painting
Collaborate with colleagues and external suppliers to deliver projects on time and to specification
Maintain strict adherence to Health, Safety, and Environment protocols
Assemble new generators and revise existing hydropower assets
Perform critical maintenance across project sites in Norway, Sweden, and Finland

Requirements

What you’ll need

Able to travel extensively to and from projects and field assignments
Willing to work holidays, weekends, and overtime as required
Ability to spend considerable time away from home for training and field assignments
Ability to diagnose and repair complex mechanical systems
Capability to read and interpret technical documentation in English
Understanding of Microsoft Word and Excel
Full proficiency in Norwegian, Swedish, or Danish
Good understanding of English
Expertise in maintenance or repair of rotating equipment
Formal mechanical trade certificate (fagbrev) is an advantage, not a requirement
Relevant field experience with rotating equipment is encouraged
