About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Execute complex service, maintenance, and repair tasks on rotating equipment including generators, motors, and turbines
  • Install new components and generator systems
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues and implement effective solutions
  • Perform CO2 cleaning and stator/rotor painting
  • Collaborate with colleagues and external suppliers to deliver projects on time and to specification
  • Maintain strict adherence to Health, Safety, and Environment protocols
  • Assemble new generators and revise existing hydropower assets
  • Perform critical maintenance across project sites in Norway, Sweden, and Finland

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Able to travel extensively to and from projects and field assignments
  • Willing to work holidays, weekends, and overtime as required
  • Ability to spend considerable time away from home for training and field assignments
  • Ability to diagnose and repair complex mechanical systems
  • Capability to read and interpret technical documentation in English
  • Understanding of Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Full proficiency in Norwegian, Swedish, or Danish
  • Good understanding of English
  • Expertise in maintenance or repair of rotating equipment
  • Formal mechanical trade certificate (fagbrev) is an advantage, not a requirement
  • Relevant field experience with rotating equipment is encouraged
